On server platform,BMC get acpi state from ICH10R through SMBUS,Cause DC ON/OFFstress test fail

Now I am working on a server project about IPMI.BMC(Baseboard Management Controller) get system acpi state from the ICH10R through smbus(i2c).But this cause the system dc on/off stress test within 100 times.Could someone give some information about how this happen? And give some information about the rules of operating the ICH10R from an extern SMBUS host controller?
