Problem with Audio Properties

Hi my name is Vekat,

I have recently purchased Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz Processor with Intel DG31 GL Mother Board for upgrading my PC.

I have done everything right and installed Win-XP Proffessional with service pack2.

I was earlier using Pixel View internal TV Tunner card in my PC and tried to install the same in new Mother board. My TV tunner application is not detecting the Audio as " Line In " which is must for me otherwise I have to connect my speakers directly to TV tunner Audio Out while I watch TV and cahnge to PC Audio out jack to listen any sound from the PC.

I checked in the audio properties and tried to re-install audio drivers but still not able to see the Line option in Volume control Tab.

Can some one help me.

i have purchase interl DG31GL Mother Board,

including Drivers CD but cd not working some drivers i installed soud, chipset, usb driver

but not install ethernet driver

please give me a ethernet driver plesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

this sound properties line in issue was in intel dg31gl motherboard and i am telling you manufacture intel also not able to resolve this issue you go for another product or brand.

Hi there,

Audio Issues:

First thing that i will do is to update my board bios to the latest one version 0008 using the recovery mode.

My next step is not to use the tuner card for the time being.

I will install the Operating System. Then i will install the drivers in the following order:

Chipset: INF Update Utility

Audio: Realtek* ALC Audio DriverVideo: Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator DriverLAN: Intel® PRO Network Connections Driver

I will check if the sound is working fine on the board.

Then i will connect the tuner and correct cable for the sound. Then i will install the drivers for the tuner card.

Other than this, i dont have any suggestions. Hope that this may help.

just im using dg31 series mother board and i am not able to use line in port with my tv tuner card.

The same audio line in problem.Software are reinstalled but no solution.

i dont now why intel makes motherboards....they dont ofer the right suport....and the most nasty thing is that you buy a new one an u will have problems with sound/lan/video and others.....i have an dg33 tl and i have problems with sound card drives...cpu fan rotation...
