Hello,
We have about 150 Dell Precision 3450 that runs RedHat 8.5 Operating System and equipped with Intel vPro AMT. We want to manage Poweron and off remote.
Does this technology support Linux Redhat OS?
If so I would like to have some documentation on how to proceed.
Thank you!

Hello Sebasboss,
Thank you for joining the Intel community
Since your system is AMT capable it could be remotely managed using a suitable software. The Intel official current management software is called Intel® Endpoint Management Assistant (Intel® EMA). This software needs to run on Windows OS, but the client system that will be remotely managed could be running whichever OS as per the Management Engine is transparent to the system OS.
For more introductory info you can look the following video-tutorials
Intel® Endpoint Management Assistant (Intel® EMA) Video Series
Alternatively some 3rd party opensource softwares could be used. One of them is MeshCentral
Hope this helps

Sebasboss,
Intel® EMA requires its EMAAgent.exe to be installed on endpoints.
Currently Intel® EMA Agent supports only MS* Windows OS.
As Jose pointed you may consider MeshCentral or Open AMT Cloud Toolkit those tools support Linux OS.
Please look also at MeshCmd
it has Linux version and allows you to simply configure Intel® AMT into Client Control Mode and reconfigure it if already configured to Admin Control Mode for example by using USB Local Configuration with USB File Tool from Intel® AMT SDK.
If you need more help on USB Local Configuration / MeshCmd contact me.
BTW if your Dell Precision 3450 are equipped with discrete graphics that is able to run in Hybrid mode (sending rendered screen through Intel processor integrated GfX - you will be even able to use Intel® AMT HW KVM with it up to 4k resolution (I have w customers runinng it). Bare in mind that there is need to use dummy USB-DP plug to simulate Display presence (raise Display presence signal up) or check with Dell their latest BIOS for RC6 disable (Render Standby).

Hey Seabasboss,
I have a bunch of Dell Precision 3660's (with Intel on-board graphics and nvidia discrete graphics), and wondering if you managed to find these BIOS options to solve the problem, and get remote access to your desktops? Not sure if you have discrete graphics.
Jason.
