I have a single processor Dual Channel DDR2 Non-ECC Pentium D Computer at 95W TDP.
I want to upgrade to a single processor Tri-Channel DDR3 ECC W3503 computer at 130 W TDP.
I am concerned that the "server grade" W3503 @ 130 TDP is thermally inferior to the "consumer grade" Pentium D @ 95W TDP.
If I tortuer both CPUs at 100% load which processor will:
1) Die first?
2) Throttle first?
3) Rev up the fan first?
4) Perform erroneous computations first?
Thanks,
Fungo9
