dp965lt will not boot after overclocking

I tried overclocking the memory (Corsair, Value Select, DDR2, PC@-5300 - DDR2-667 and no ECC).. I know, I shouldn't have! Now I get 3 post beeps (memory error). I have tried new memory. I removed the battery, I've tried BIOS recovery mode by moving the jumper and had the recovery file on a cd. Nothing was added to this PC just before I did this... No matter what I do, I get the 3 beeps. Any suggestions would be appreciated if there's anything else I can try, but I think I need to buy a new motherboard because the memory controller is probably fried. Do I need to get a new CPU as well?

TIA -Woodgeek
