i rebuilt my desktop with a dg45ID motherboard and a core2duo proc as well as a new motherboard and i am trying to install windows vista and i am in the first step where it is trying to get info and install drivers. the problem is that it does not find any driver software and i cannot complete the instalation

Ermm at what point exactly is this you will need to give a better description...Do you mean after the first login, when you need to install all the driver? Otherwise, do you mean when you need to actually choose the dHDD you are installing it on? If so go in to BIOS and set SATA as IDE.
