workstation processors and server processors

I am shopping to create a network with a server and 3 workstations. Can the workstations be AMD and the Server be Intel Celeron?

Hi Weber,

Intel and AMD are very much interoperable with each other so you can have a mesh of servers and clients from both Intel and AMD at the same time however since you mentioned that you are hoping to buy a Celeron based system for use as server, I have to ask you .. What services do you plan to host on this server since Intel Celeron processor is a desktop processor and it would not be wise to use it as a server unless the services you plan to host do not require much computing power.
