D415 Component Questions

Hi, I just have a few questions regarding the components used in the d415 camera module (the module that comes with the housing, usb c port, tripod etc.)

We believe that all three sensors, the 2 IR and the 1 RGB are all the same sensor model, the CMOS OV02740-H34A produced by OmniVision Technologies. Could anyone please confirm this assumption?

We were also wondering if anyone could tell us what type of filter is in front of the two IR sensors? We read through the data sheet provided here: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/emerging-technologies/intel-realsense-technology/Intel-RealSense-D400-Series-Datasheet.pdf https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/emerging-technologies/intel-realsense-technology/Intel-RealSen

however we couldn't find any specific information regarding filters. If anyone knows the type of filter, a data sheet or any product vendor information would be very helpful.

Thanks,

The wide IR sensor (used on D420 and D430 modules) is OV9282. The Standard size IR sensor (used on the D410 and D415 modules) is OV2740.

The color sensor is OV2740.

In regard to filter type:

Color: IR Cut filter

IR (Wide): None

IR (Standard): IR Cut on D400 module, None on D410 module

BTW, the data sheet you linked to was the January 2018 edition. The latest March 2018 edition is linked to below.

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/emerging-technologies/intel-realsense-technology/Intel-RealSense-D400-Series-Datasheet.pdf https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/emerging-technologies/intel-realsense-technology/Intel-RealSen

There is also a smaller May 2018 data update.
