I am getting the depth stream without IR blaster in Intel real sense D435i. Can anyone explain to me what is the use of IR blaster and how we get depth stream without that?

The purpose of the semi-random dot pattern projected onto the scene by the IR projector is to make it easier for the camera to read the depth detail on flat objects with low texture detail. This can include walls, doors and tables / desks. However, the 400 Series cameras work excellently in scenes with strong light. If the scene is well lit then you can turn off the IR projector and its dot pattern, and the camera can automatically use the ambient light in the scene to read the depth detail of surfaces instead.
