I have had this selfbuild pc for half a year now and i was just wondering why doesn't it find 9700k. I have RTX 2080 and so my integrated graphics is turned off, can that do something that it won't be detect? It just says that "Sorry, we didn't find any supported Intel drivers or software."

That is correct. Did you read the list of exclusions?

What would you have IDSA find for your processor? The only driver listed is for the graphics, which you do not have turned on.

That's the important factor. The graphics driver package is the *only* package for the processor. All other "devices" within the processor have their drivers built into the Windows images and they are simply configured by the Chipset Device Software package (which doesn't install any drivers at all).

IDSA is going to support the secondary Intel silicon - LAN, WLAN, etc.; that's about it.

Now, I always wonder when I see this "we didn't find any" message what happened to the ME and chipset devices. They are there and should be found but are not????
