New promotional information about the forthcoming RealSense D415 and D435 cameras is now available at realsense.intel.com that includes images of the components inside the camera casings and the inside layout of the casing parts.
Also mentioned for the first time is a standalone camera module version for device integration. Separate links at the top of the page for 'Module Kits' and 'Cameras' confirm this dual approach to meet the needs of all kinds of projects.
Included too in the new information is a link to an information sheet about the Vision Processor D4 component contained in both cameras.

Edit: an image gallery browser button on the page reveals that the new cameras have lightweight conventional grilles for ventilation on the top edge.
