I want to know if the examples in the [SDK 2016 R3] can be applied to D435.

The RealSense D435 is not compatible with the old Windows SDKs such as '2016 R2' and '2016 R3' and their sample programs unfortunately, as they are totally different to the RealSense SDK 2.0 that the D435 uses.
