Hello psafe, Thank you for your interest in the Intel RealSense D435 camera. The best cable to be used with Intel RealSense cameras is the one that came with it. If you need a longer cable, there is no cable that is guaranteed to work due to the large volume of camera data that is passed through the camera. The Newnex cable recommended by Marty G. has worked for some customers, but there have been instances where these longer 3rd party cables don't work very well with the RealSense cameras, so please take this into consideration as well. Thank you and best regards, Eliza

My personal recommendation is Newnex, a supplier of industrial grade USB equipment that is proven to work well with RealSense 400 Series cameras.

Another RealSense user's personal recommendation for a supplier was OCP.

I feel that attach it to raspberry pi+ and publish data as a ROS node is a good solution. pi 3+ has 50Mbps br is enough to send 1080p raw data.
