Which transparent material will generate the least interference with the D435?

Hey all,

I need to scan objects from the bottom, which are placed on a transparent material. I'm using a RealSense D435.

I tried glass, but it generates a lot of noise and false detections. Is there anything that would work better?

Thanks

This topic was discussed recently in regard to creating a replacement for the cover in front of the camera lenses. If you google for 'anti-reflective plexiglass', there are a number of suppliers who will sell it and cut it to size for you.

Another method is to apply an anti reflective coating to the glass.

The cover and materials for the 400 Series cameras are discussed on page 76-77 of the 400 Series data sheet. It begins at Section 7.10 at the bottom of page 76.
