The RealSense SDK 2.0 software used by the 400 Series cameras has a sample program for creating a point cloud.

You do not need programming skills to create a point cloud though, as the SDK's pre-made SDK 2.0 software has a built-in point cloud mode. You can view the point cloud simply by clicking the '3D' option in the top corner of the Viewer.
