real sense for sign language

I am developing application for deaf people. My question is can I use the camera to create a real sense to create a database of gestures. And then the camera was able to perceive them and translate. where can I learn more about it?

Ever since the early days of RealSense in 2014, people have imagined the possibilities for using it for sign language applications, especially because of its support for finger joint recognition.
