Can't run GStreamer examples

I installed Media SDK API Version 1.35 on Ubuntu 18.0.4 and installed the GStreamer plugins from https://github.com/Intel-Media-SDK/gstreamer-plugins

I can't get any of the gstreamer examples to work on an Core i9-10900X.

For example, the following command produces an empty MP4 file:

gst-launch-1.0 \
> videotestsrc num-buffers=150 ! \
> video/x-raw,format=YV12,width=1280,height=720,framerate=30/1 ! \
> mfx_gst_vpp memory=video width=1280 height=720 ! \
> mfx_gst_h264ve RateControlMethod=cbr TargetKbps=3000 GopRefDist=1 ! \
> qtmux ! \
> filesink location=videotest.mp4
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
ERROR: Pipeline doesn't want to pause.
Setting pipeline to NULL ...
Freeing pipeline ...

Apologies for the delays. Media SDK functionality has been superseded by oneVPL, FFmpeg and GStreamer.

Hello,

We are evaluating an Alder Lake platform and we currently have problem with mp4 playback on Yocto MR6 release for the specific processor. We were using vaapi gstreamer plugins up to elkhart lake and now we get "internal error" messages and crash whenever we are using vaapisink. Can you please let us know where we can find any usable information on pipeline examples or how to use the onevpl with gstreamer ?
