Name brand servers with Quick Sync

Hello,

I recently looked for rack servers from Dell containing CPUs featuring Quick Sync, and only found workstations and a tower computer, not any 1U rack systems, or rack systems period.

Has anyone had any luck finding server format systems containing CPUs with Quick Sync from any of the largest server vendors?

Hi Cameron,

There are a few 'suggested' servers mentioned in the documentation of our "Intel(r) Media Server Studio 2015" product.

https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-media-server-studio/details

Companies like Supermicro*, IBM*, Kontron*, QuickFire* Networks and others are already shipping systems and solutions that support the hardware acceleration features.

Take a look at the R220.  It can be configured with Intel Xeon E3-1286 v3 3.7GHz, 8M Cache, Turbo, 4C/8T, 84W
