when I use capture screen plugin ,the result is failed.

Can anybody tell me what's wrong is happened? thanks.

when i use -sw to decode,nv12 file can be created.

sample_decode.exe capture -p 22d62c07e672408fbb4cc20ed7a053e4 -h 1366 -w 768 -sw -n 30 -o outputfile.nv12

my PC info:

CPU:I5 4200U

GPU:inter HD Graphics family

Hi,

Can you please send the system analyzer log from your machine?

Execute the binary “<install-folder>\tools\mediasdk_sys_analyzer\win32\sys_analyzer.exe” or
“<install-folder>\tools\mediasdk_sys_analyzer\x64\sys_analyzer.exe” in your machine. Send a copy of it.

when i try it on SurfacePro3,nv12 file can be created successfully.

but I want to encode this nv12 file to h264 format file.Although the H264 files are created, but the file is too small, also unable to play.

input file:nv12(889MB)

Hi Zhou,

Thanks for sharing the log.

Screen Capture (MFX_CODEC_CAPTURE) is supported from API 1.15, which is not supported with your current graphics driver. Please update the driver at https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ to the latest version (15.36.31.4414). It should fix your issue.

Try it and let us know.

When I install the latest driver( win64_153631.4414),

indicate that the system can't install.(error info :this operating system is not supported).

1 about driver

Because the system is a custom OS, driver from Inter could not be updated.

When I driver from lenovo's official website,it also can not install.

I ready to confirm on other computer.

2 about h264 file can't play

I changed player tool from VLC player to storm player, the h264 file can be play well.

If you can provide me with the Lenovo model & serial number, I may be able to make sure that you have a right driver installed.

Yes, VLC may not be playing the elementary streams. I personally use 'mplayer' to play such streams. You may use any application of your choice.
