libva intel-driver source

Hi,

Can someone point me to the source for the MediaSDK changes to the libva intel driver?

The 2015R6 release only contains source for libva and libdrm, not the libva intel-driver package.

Thanks,

will

Hi Will, Are you asking for source for iHD_drv_video.so driver? In general, we do not share the driver source code externally (iHD is closed source). If I misunderstood, can you be more specific? Thanks.

Hi,

Perhaps I misunderstood.  I thought that iHD_drv_video.so was some version of http://cgit.freedesktop.org/vaapi/intel-driver.  Are you saying that it is actually a closed-source alternative?

thanks,

will

Hi Will - The repo you are pointing to is the opensource stack, while iHD is the closed source module that is packaged with media server studio and is required for the media sdk. So yes, these two are different. Hope this clarifies your question.

if you can let us know what you are looking to do, we can point you in the right direction may be. Can you explain your application and media pipeline that requires source access?
