I keep getting 00 error codes and need to restart my PC several times using power button to boot into OS. Anyone have this problem before? It takes several tries to get into windows. Sometimes the windows boot screen freezes on me too needing me to restart my PC completely.

My Processor is i9-11900k

Hi @mrsumxt,

Thank you for posting here in our community. To effectively diagnose and address the issue you're experiencing, I kindly ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help us isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action.

  • Please provide the SSU log report and share it here so I can review your system's configuration.
  • What steps were taken to troubleshoot this issue?
  • Did you overclock the processor? Please note that if the system was overclocked, including voltage/frequency beyond the processor supported specifications, your processor voids warranty.
  • Have you recently made any software or hardware changes to your system?
  • Have you contacted your motherboard manufacturer regarding this issue?

The "00" error code on your motherboard typically indicates a hardware initialization failure. You may also check this article: What to Do with Debug Code 00 on Motherboard

I look forward to your response and am committed to resolving your issue promptly.

Warm regards,

Really sorry for the last response. I never got an SSU log, but I will check
when I get on my computer again. I tried to check event viewer on windows, but there was no mention of the times this error has happened.

I updated bios as well as chipset drivers, also tried turning XMP on and off and finally, I reseated the CPU and repasted.

Unfortunately, it didn't help. The PC sometimes boots to windows no problem, other times I get the 00 Qcode error.

I was told to try a MOBO swap test, I don't have another LGA1200 mobo lying around, so I will have to wait for Monday to take it to a shop to test.

I haven't made any changes to my machine whatsoever before the error and I don't overclock my CPU

 Hi @mrsumxt,

After reviewing the error code, it appears that further testing is required for the motherboard, as the issue seems to be specifically related to it. Therefore, I will proceed with closing this case.

However, if the technician discovers that the issue is with the CPU, please feel free to reach out to us again for further assistance. Please note that this thread will no longer be monitored, so if you need help from our end, kindly submit a new ticket.

Thank you for your understanding.

Regards,
