Hi all.

After my 13900k was broken, i recieved today a 14900k from intel.

Can some guide me or provide me BIOS settings for this guy? I want to avoid as much as possible to get a damage again.

Mainboard is the Asus ROG Strix Z790-h

Thanks

Check you have the latest chipset and ME driver software installed from the ASUS support website for your board. Then update to the latest BIOS, which should be 2503. This includes a ME firmware update if you need one. This BIOS includes Intel microcode 0x129 to limit Vcore voltage and will as standard set the Intel Default Settings for your processor. That's it, you're good to go.

Install intel ME firmware, Update bios, which includes 0x129, and set intel default setting to Enable , if possible enable under volt protection
