Am I eligible for warranty on my intel i7 4770K?

I bought an Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell Quad-Core 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770K off Newegg in my PC Build a little over a year ago and it's already ceased function on me. I did not purchase a warranty but it came with a "3 Year Limited Warranty" in the box. Can I get a new one, or at least my $350 back? Please Help!!
