Applications for i7 980X

Just build a machine using a boxed i7 980X and DX58SO2 motherboard, running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I've had no luck installing the applications provided on the Intel Express Installer (Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and Intel Desktop Utilities). And there doesn't seem to be on line support with these applications for the i7 980X / DX58SO2. Can anyone shed light on this:)

Try downloading the APP. to your desktop , than go off line , disable all of your security software, And I mean all of it, even firewalls . than try to install the APP. Sometimes security software looks at anything that controls your sys settings like a virus.
