I keep getting the BSOD and my laptop crashes, I just found out by base system device driver is missing in the Device Manager. I have followed every forums and youtube videos' steps to fix it but none of them has worked. I have a HP Elitebook 850 G5, I don't know the details of the base system device. Can anyone please help?

HP has a software and drivers page for your Elitebook 850 G5 that can be accessed through here . Select the on-screen prompts for your OS details and click on Submit. On the next page click on the Detect my drivers and software button and any missing or updated drivers should be identified automatically.

If that does not work for you there are more options from HP support that can be found on this page . This includes contacting them directly.
