Intel did not make the laptop.
Intel did not make the battery.
Batteries do go bad.
Battery circuitry does go bad.
Drivers have nothing to do with this.
Asus is responsible for your warranty and hardware support.
Asus can replace your battery, or tell you what battery to get.
Contact Asus for support. And, just because you made a mistake do not bring your attitude and insults to the forum.

Hello P-nut,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
We understand that you are experiencing some battery problems with your laptop.
As you may know, when talking about hardware/components failure we would always recommend checking with your laptop manufacturer for a proper inspection of the components and discard a possible hardware failure.
Based on the description of you issue, seems that the battery of your laptop may be failing. As AlHill states you would need to contact your laptop manufacturer (in this case ASUS*) for further assistance.
I really hope that you can resolve this situation with them.
As you required assistance from your manufacturer, we will proceed with the closure of your inquiry. However, If you need any additional information, please submit a new question and we will be glad to assist you.
Please consider that this thread will no longer being monitored
