I tried to do this but I don't get any beeps, and the screen remains black with the fan running at full blast. I just have the Shift key blinking. I also tried with a USB stick. It worked and the recovery screen appeared but after getting the message that it was repaired with 500 behind, the laptop started looping again. I will try to contact HP, if you have other solutions, thank you in advance!
