Hi I have put together a new build and right as I start it up I get the beep code that reveals that I have a bad processor. I was wondering what I should check before I decide to send the Processor back and try a new one.

Im using a MSI P67A-G45 (B3)

i5-2500k

G.Skill Ripjaw 8GB DDR3 1600

Corsair TX750

any help with this issue would be nice

The best way to determine for sure if the processor is the defective component is by testing the processor on a known working and compatible motherboard to see if the processor causes the same behavior.
