What's a better Intel processor for a Workstation that will mainly run AutoDesk products (like AutoCad, Revit Architecture, and Civil3D)? I've looked at Workstations with both Xeon W3540 and Xeon E5620 processors in them. Anyone have any insight?

Hello:
You can compare between both processors here:
http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=47925,39719 http://ark.intel.com/Compare.aspx?ids=47925,39719,
The W3540 will have more speed and more frontside bus compare to the E5620. Also remember that the application that you are not planning to run will not only depend on the processor you may need to take in consideration the memory, video card, etc.

Me Also Reccomed to use 1GB DDR3 VIDEO GRAPHICS CARD with DUAL Monitor Support And Also you Can USE Minimum 8 GB RAM Memory .
Thank You
