I have an Toshiba Satellite C50-A-1DV with i3-3110M Processor. I was wondering if I can upgrade to a better processor on my laptop.

The processor compatibility depends on the limitations set by the Computer Manufacture. My best recommendation is to contact Toshiba directly and get the processor compatibility list for your motherboard.
