Hello X X,

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

Yes, Xeon processors can use non-ECC (Error Correction Code) RAM. However, it is worth noting that ECC RAM is designed to detect and correct errors in memory, which can help prevent data corruption and system crashes. If you are using the Xeon processor for mission-critical applications, it may be worth considering using ECC RAM for added reliability.

Not every Xeon but most Xeons also support regular non-ECC RAM.

I will accept your kind offer by asking about "Not every".
It would be ideal to find a list or database of Xeon models,
containing a field that indicates support of nonECC.
A step downwards from ideal would be some way to find the
relevant information for any individual model that I would type or select.
The usual Intel specs certainly never reveal it.

What do you think?
