Hi all,
I’ve noticed a recurring issue on my Intel-powered laptop (Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2840 @ 2.16GHz, Windows 10) where the Shift, Ctrl, and Alt keys randomly stop working — especially after waking up from sleep mode. It doesn’t seem to be driver-related because I’ve updated everything through the Intel Driver & Support Assistant.
External keyboards sometimes work, but the problem often returns. Is this possibly related to the chipset or BIOS? Or could it be a deeper hardware controller issue?
Appreciate any advice — I’d really like to figure this out before resorting to a full keyboard replacement. Thanks in advance!
