Core 2 Duo T6500... will windows 7 Enterprise 64bit work on it?

i have dell inspiron 1545 laptop which i purchased about an year ago.

the config is: intel core 2 duo T6500 processor

4gb ram, 250 gb hardisk, windows vista basic 32bit

i am planing to upgrade my OS to Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit

will it work on my laptop?

Yes the cpu does support 64 bit OS.

Your main concern is to check on Dell Download Center website if there are any 64 bits drivers for the Windows 7. Plase check with Dell for any drivers for the board, chipset, audio etc..
