Core Ultra memory performance drops after power cycle

Hello
I have the following problem CPU 265K, Asus TUF GAMING Z890-PLUS WIFI
I activate the XMP 8400 profile and set D2D and NGU 32
Everything works fine, I turn off the PC and then turn it on, the write speed drops and the latency increases.
But if the PC is completely de-energized and then turned on, Everything is restored, and so on until the first shutdown.

  • Hello Archie D
  • Is this working fine before?
  • The PC is new, the problem arose immediately and many people have it.
  • Have you tried disabling XMP to see if the issue still persists?
  • If you disable XMP the problem disappears, the problem starts if the memory frequency is higher than 8000 MT/s
  • Dis you overclock the processor?
  • No, I just increased D2D and NGU to 32.
  • What are the troubleshooting steps that you tried so far?
  • I changed the power settings in the BIOS and Windows, but only a complete shutdown of the PC with disconnection from the network helps
  • Is your BIOS currently updated?
  • BIOS latest
  • The problem looks like this

Hi AndreyR,

Upon checking the information, it appears there is a discrepancy between the BIOS versions. The screenshot indicates BIOS version 2005, whereas the SSU logs show version 2207.

To ensure accurate testing and optimal performance, we recommend updating your system to the latest BIOS version. Once updated, please conduct the tests again with the 200S boost enabled and the desired XMP profile, without making any additional tweaks.

After completing these steps, kindly inform us of the results so we can assist you further.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Best regards,
