It does have VT: http://ark.intel.com/products/95443/Intel-Core-i5-7200U-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz Intel® Core™ i5-7200U Processor (3M Cache, up to 3.10 GHz) Product Specifications

Check the BIOS of your machine and see if it is turned on.

Yes, the option is enabled. But it still does not work.

Is the BIOS updated?

What Operating System?

If so, then it is either a DELL bios problem, or the Intel ARK information is incorrect, or the Intel Processor ID utility is incorrect.

Hello torfao,

The Intel® Core™ i5-7200U Processor supports the Intel® VT-x, you can see the datasheet:

This is a feature that can be enabled or disabled in the BIOS but it also depends on your computer manufacturer if they decided to have the feature available for your system or not.

You can try updating your BIOS and if you already have the latest version you can try contacting your computer manufacturer to ask if this feature is available or disabled for your system.

Regards,

I got same question. And I found solution finally.

In my Acer notebook, I change my BIOS setting from Legacy to UEFI(Need to reinstall whole system), and Vt-x is working now!
