Cpu dead?

I just built my first pc and I can't get it to boot. I test booted it on a flat bench and I got into the bios, but after I assembled the components in the case I have not been able to boot. The CPU debug LED on my msi mpg gaming plus board is on, which led me to re-install the cpu and the cpu power cables, but im still having the same issue. Is my cpu dead?

If you got to the bios once, the cpu is/was working.  What you have done since is the problem.  We cannot debug MSI motherboard problems.  You did not provide a motherboard model number, or a cpu model number.

Your best place to start is with MSI support for their board.
