Dell XPS 8500 i7 3770M ?

Hi,

The Dell XPS 8500 is sold with a i7 processor (i7 3770M) which does not appear in the official Intel i7 processor listing.

Please, can someone tell us to which offficial i7 processor it compares to, and perhaps, why the renaming?

The reason that we do not handle information about that processor on our website is because this is a processor available only as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) processor, designed only for braded laptop systems like DELL*.

For information about this processor please contact the OEM system manufacturer, in this case DELL*.

The only similar processors that we have are the i7-3770 and i7-3770K, you can find information about those processors at:
