Disable hardware prefetcher on SNB?

I want to quantify the effect of HW prefetcher on an SNB processor. I flipped through the Software Developer's Manual, but I only found MSR for Core 2 Arch. The same 0x1A0 and bit 9, 19, 37, 39 doesn't work on my SNB processor.

I wonder if there is a way to turn of hardware prefetcher in SNB as I can do in Core 2? Thanks.

Btw, if someone knows the answer, you might as well answer this related thread for Nehalem: http://intelopenport.hosted.jivesoftware.com/message/69276 prefetch disable via MSRs on Nehalem?
