Am looking to upgrade my motherboard so that it hopefully has a M2 port, the dual cpus still work well and new ones don’t seem to be much more better unless spending lots of cash, so don’t want to replace. The issue I think is the data speed thus thinking a m2 and ssd’s should resolve this, hence a new motherboard, I know it’s a lga2011 socket, however, can’t find any boards that have this and m2, is anyone aware of such a motherboard or is the cpu/socket just to old? Which would be annoying as they are still more than capable.
Another option would be a PCI m2 adapter, would this work and be able to boot from?

Hello, Jhuntley,
Due to this product being discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help. You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/discontinued-products.html
Thank you for understanding. Best regards,
Allan
