Hi folks, we have a brand new HP ProLiantDL380 G6 with a E5530-2.4 IMC 1066MHz in use.

The Server was shipped (bundle packed) with DDR3-1333 RDIMMs 3*2GB.

Shoud we change the DDR3-1333 RDIMMs to DDR3-1066 RDIMMs, because the IMC supports only 1066MHz Memorys.

Has anybody knowledge/experience how the performance/problem impact will be, in this constelation?

don't think the processor will let you go over 1066 anyway. you'll be running at around 25GBps-ish memory-processor bandwidth (triple channel configuration) instead of the 32BGps of running the memory at 1333.
