We are experiencing game crashing on multiple licensed games and some 3D software with the following configuration that is mentioned below:

INTEL I5 14500 14CORE 20THREAD
GIGABYTE B760M DS3H AX DDR5
TEAM FORCE DELTA RGB 16x2 32GB DDR5 6000MHZ
WD BLUE SN580 1TB NVME GEN4 SSD
NVIDIA RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6
DEEPCOOL PF650 SMPS
COOLERMASTER HYPER 212 SPECTRUM V3

We suspect that this is the recently occurring Intel 13th and 14th Gen Intel Processors with the eTVB microcode issue is the reason for this software instability

And we tried updating the recent stable BIOS and Disabling the XMP profiles. But, nothing helped in fixing the issue.

If anyone have any method or solution for this issue. Let me know.

Hi VIJAYB10,

Apologies for the delay in my response.

It seems that the processor is faulty. For more details about the Warranty of Intel processors, kindly check this link:

Warranty Guide for Intel® Processors

We can help you with the troubleshooting if you want, however if you really wish to claim warranty, please contact your local warranty support team for them to gather the needed details and validate your processor. Kindly open the link below and choose your country to contact your local Warranty Team.

We recommend updating BIOS with Microcode 0x129 for systems configured with 13th and 14th Generation Processors with CPUID 0xB0671.

The microcode update (0x129) will limit voltage requests above 1.55V as a preventative mitigation for processors not experiencing instability symptoms. This microcode update will primarily improve operating conditions for K/KF/KS processors, with less impact on non-K Series processors. Analysis is ongoing to address other scenarios that can result in this Vmin shift on Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen desktop processors (list of vulnerable processors is here Additional Warranty Updates on Intel Core 13th/14th Gen Desktop Processors - Intel Community). Intel will share a progress update on this analysis by end of August.

If you have questions, please let us know.

Best regards,

I am also using  15-13500 same  GIGABYTE B760M DS3H AX DDR5 mb  with G skill 5600mhz   16x 4  = 64gb ram, xmp enabled  with NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6

I  too updated the latest bios F18D, but microcode 0x125 or 0x129  does not update for 13500. intel default settings does not appear in bios

Unaffected Products List

Following the recent warranty extension announcement for affected Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen desktop processors, Intel confirms these currently available processors are not affected by the Vmin Shift Instability issue:

  • 12th Gen Intel Core desktop and mobile processors
  • Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen i5 (non-K) & i3 desktop processors
  • Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen mobile processors – including HX-series processors.
  • Intel Xeon processors – including server and workstation processors.
  • Intel Core Ultra (Series 1) processors

Your processor is not affected, moreover, you are using the outdated driver on the gigabyte site.

I have all the latest drivers installed collected from various sources, and still no crashes
