Hello, can I get a document containing the socket FCBGA1787 ball map in order to make a stencil (needed to repair a laptop board) or is this confidential information?

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

For me to further check this, please help provide the following details:

  1. What us the brand and model of your laptop?
  2. What is the issue that you encounter?
  3. What kind of repair are you trying to do?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Asus FX506HM laptop, Quannta NJH motherboard. When soldering a faulty processor (due to liquid getting under it), the board mask was damaged. There is a method for restoring the mask with ultraviolet varnish, but for this you need to make a stencil on a transparent film. On the Internet, I found only raster images of the socket without specifying the size of the stencil and the gap between the balls, maybe you can provide a vector image or an image with the specified dimensions.

Hello VladyslavProtsak,

Thank you for the update.

Just to check, have you tried contacting Asus about this since the system that you are working on is an Asus unit?

If yes, you can you tell me what is their reply?

If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.

Asus suggests that I contact an authorized service center. Unfortunately, they do not work in my country. Perhaps I did not explain correctly what I need, due to poor knowledge of English. I am attaching a screenshot from the datasheet of another chip, it contains what I need, I thought that Intel could also provide this information or a datasheet for a similar processor.

Hello VladyslavProtsak,

Thank you for patiently waiting for my update.

Upon checking, the mechanical drawings of Intel processors are not released publicly.

However you can locate for the files that you need here: Intel's Resource & Documentation Center

Thank you and have a great day.
