I was using the FPT tool to change a password on a new build for a computer we manufacturer. After changing the password, I attempted to run sudo FPT -closemnf -y to close out manufacturing mode. I was met with Error 206: Unable to write data to flash. Address 0x80. When reviewing the Error in the documentation it says reach out to Intel. Output from tool included in attached screenshot.
What would cause this kind of error?

Hello Noah64,
Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.
For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.
- What is the model of the processor?
- Are you an end user?
- Can you tell me more about the system that you are building?
If you have questions, please let us know. Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael L.
