Ich habe bei Ebay eine I9 14900Kf gekauft. Der Vorbesitzer hat ihn zuvor bei Kleinanzeigen neu gekauft jedoch ohne Rechnung.
Der Prozessor war laut Vorbesitzer nur ein Paar Stunden verbaut.
Nun stellt sich für mich die Frage was ich machen kann wenn ich ein Problem mit dem Prozessor habe.
Vorweg : Ich habe PL1 und 2 manuell gesetzt bzw folgende Einstellungen für den Betrieb gemacht - PL1 125W / Pl2 200W / 249A da mein Mainboard höhere Werte als Basiswert angesetzt hat( 125W/253W/400A).
C1E/CPackage Support usw sind aktiviert. Die CPU wird nur durch das einschalten des RAM XMP übertaktet. Es werden keine manuellen eingriffe an den Spannungen gemacht.
Nun meine Frage.Was mache ich wenn der Prozessor degeneriert oder einen Schaden durch Oxidation hat? Besteht die Möglichkeit des Supports bzw einer RMA ohne Rechnung?
Laut Warranty Check hat die CPU Garantie bist ca. 31.03.2029

Can i get an RMA without invoice ? I Bought an I9 14900Kf at Ebay without invoice. Intel Warranty check says guarantee up till march 2029.
It runs with lower Powertargets (L2 200W- 249A) .Only XMP is activated with lowed Voltage at CPU.

I contacted Intel Support . I´ll get no Warranty as second buyer without invoice
The Answers were typical. Good to know as custumor. This CPU is my last Intel after 20 Years.
For future Builds i´ll not recommand Intel Builds anymore also in Communitys.
I will change my systems to AMD now.
