Do I have to use heat sink paste when installing my core i5 processor? The instructions don't show any paste being applied when installoing the heat sink fan.
Are you using the Intel heat sink that came with the processor? If so, the paste is pre-applied on the heat sink, you should see a gray material on the area that contacts the processor.
