Help with motherboard series compatability

I just bought an Intel Core i5 13600KF, and I don't know if the series is compatible with the motherboard I picked out. I bought the "Msi Mag B760 TOMAHAWK". The socket is fine, but I read on the back of the cpu box that it is important to have a motherboard that is based on the 600 or 700 series. Does anyone know if this is the case?

On the MSI support site for your board, they will have a list of compatible processors.   You should check it.
