I did the online RMA for my i75930k and got assigned RMA 02526692.
It has been in "New" status now for four days with out being assigned to a technician.
Is this normal? I had heard it was a fast process even offering cross shipping.

It is strange because I was not able to find any information with the number 02526692.
Before Intel proceeds with an RMA we will need to determine that the unit is defective.
Please let me know the following information:
What is the issue you have with the processor?
Motherboard model:
Memory part number:
Power supply:
Operating system if you have an operating system already installed:
Bios version:
You can also reply with the troubleshooting steps you have done to determine the processor is the culprit in your system.

Well this is all fine and good, I sent an email and I filed another ticket and I still got no response. Is this standard Intel Customer Service?
I started this process 5 days ago now, most company's would have had a replacement on my door step by now. This is very disappointing.
