I want to build my customized laptop so can I use intel i9-9980XE Extreme Edition Processor to build a powerful laptop if so what type of motherboard and components are required.

The Intel® Core™ i9-9980XE Extreme Edition Processor vertical segment is for desktop systems, you can find a list of compatible Motherboards in Intel® Product Compatibility Tool.

 

If you are designing a laptop, we recommend contacting the Intel® Resource & Design Center.
