I9-12900H Ram frequency

Hello, i have a laptop with intel i9-12900h and i like to know if i can run some ddr5 5600mhz ram or it’s limited to the 4800mhz’s?

What the laptop motherboard/bios supports is a different story.

The processors can support motherboard designs that work with DDR4 or DDR5 (but not both). From a bus frequency standpoint,  this is dependent upon the quality of the motherboard, the noise being produced by other components in the laptop (which could further limit it) and the BIOS Memory Initialization code that is provided. Bottom line, only the manufacturer of the laptop can tell you exactly what they support. Go back to your laptop manufacturer's support people and tell them to do their jobs and get you the information.
