ITBM 3.0 Driver Not Available - i9-9820X

Hi folks... this error has started popping up recently, it used to be fine, but I have no idea why it has changed/if its an issue/how to fix.

From what I can gather windows controls the driver automatically, it claims it is the latest driver, there is no option to roll back to an older one, there are no driver downloads or anything on the intel site that I can install, it's just baffling. I ran diagnostics and the processor itself works fine.

It's an i9-9820X and according to the intel support page it does support ITBM 3.0. Am running Windows 11, version 24H2.

Anyone got any suggestions? If I don't need it, can I disable it?

Cheers

There was at one time a Intel Turbo Boost Max 3.0 Driver that was a separate download. The download was discontinued because of a vulnerability in the binaries that could not be mitigated.

The functions of TBM 3.0 were then integrated into the Windows Operating System and continues to be integrated up to and including Windows 11, 24H2. Your i9-9820X supports Windows 11 so there will be no loss of performance or functionality because of this.

As it is a remnant from a former driver install you can certainly disable it or even uninstall it without issue.
